Is Ibiza Worth It In November?

Updated: Nov 13

A question you hear often, "Is it worth going to Ibiza in winter?". Short answer: YES! Now, it's not as simple as that, the weather can be (and it is) unpredictable, but one thing for sure, the sun will always come out in Ibiza.

One of my favourite things about Ibiza in November is the slower pace of living, the empty beaches that you can't even look at during the peak summer time, and the most magical sunsets (that start from October-November).

Here are a few Ibiza sunsets in November:

Apart from the sunsets and empty beaches in November, Ibiza is a place to enjoy all year round. You will see many more locals walking their dogs on the beach (can't do that in summer) or meeting for late breakfast. November in Ibiza is also the perfect time for hikes and long walks, followed by picnics with beautiful views. One favourite winter hike is on Sa Talaia in Sant Josep, the highest mountain in Ibiza. What a view, no?

This year compared to the last few years, I noticed there are more and more international people on the island over the winter season and a lot more luxury properties are to appear in 2025. Will the the island slow down in winter in the future? Hopefully Ibiza won't be overpopulated and unreachable. Food for thought.

If you are planning to book Ibiza in November or any other winter months, remember to rent a car and book your hotel in a lively area as many restaurants and hotels are closed in November.

That said, if you love good food, long walks by the beach, hikes and being surrounded by locals, Ibiza in November is definitely worth it. Do expect some rain here and there.
